TMZ Reports,

“Wyclef Jean was shot in the hand yesterday just outside Port-au-Prince in Haiti.

He was treated at a local hospital and released.

A rep for the singer said the bullet just crazed his hand and he’s doing well, saying, “He’s fine now. It happened late yesterday night and he was released after a couple hours.”

No info yet on who shot Wyclef or why. The shooting comes on the eve of the presidential elections. Wyclef was a candidate but ruled ineligible because of residency requirements.

Story developing.”
