The California Lawyers for the Arts, a non-profit organization, will hold its 2012 Artistic License Awards in two cities this year, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California. The Sacramento event takes place on May 5th, 2012. I have played a very small role, given time constraints, to add to the Sacramento event. For colleagues/readers in the area, it is definitely an event worth attending so please check out the details below and purchase your tickets here!

In 2008, the Board of Directors for California Lawyers for the Arts established the Artistic License Awards to recognize persons and organizations whom have mastered their arts (intended in the broadest possible sense) in extraordinary ways for the communities they serve.
This year’s honorees are examples of those whose acts of generosity and examples of innovation have inspired so many others to stretch beyond their “comfort zones” and take on the challenges of our time.
