Breakout 3 The Digital Age: Building a brand experience and phygital marketing
This roundtable will offer an insight on how luxury companies are facing challenges to fit the digital age while keeping the sense of luxury ‘touch and feel’.
Web 3.0 environment offers tremendous opportunities for enlarging customer base, boost sales and raise brand awareness, yet it also poses remarkable challenges in terms of tax compliance and safekeeping the values of exclusivity and unicity of luxury goods. The gravity center of luxury digital strategies is the customer and his or her experience through the brand, which has to be consistent offline and online. Mobile applications and ubiquitous services play an important role in managing the virtual one-to-one conversation with customers and in making customers feel ‘spoiled’.
Presenters will offer on-the-field experience on how to design a phygital strategy fine-tuned to luxury needs and peculiarity, describing how legal constraints should be considered as part of the phygital strategy since the designing phase in order to capture the new opportunities and a summary of the key tax concerns that they face.
